A cloud that knows your name.
30,000 dots of light drift in from space and settle into a sphere. Type a word, and they rearrange into the word. Move your mouse through them — they back off and glow warm.

How it works
The text is drawn on a hidden canvas. Pixel by pixel it's scanned — anything with alpha above half becomes a point. Each particle is assigned one of those points as its target — and drifts there gracefully.
The mouse
The mouse position is projected onto the z=0 plane. Particles that get too close get a small repulsion force and turn warm — points out of range return to the accent colour.
